Chrismast in a Winter Wonderland by Kimberly Reuther

As many people know that I am a big fan of anything white. White has become very popular in the design trends in recent years from a casual, coastal lifestyle into an ice-white minimalist design. During these years, how do you enter the holiday spirit without adding color? In fact, neutral color scheme requires the same balance throughout the year: texture, texture, texture. Layer of smooth texture and neutral color make changes to work. For the holidays, add a little sparkle in your room to change into winter escape. Clear glass, mercury finish, glitter, metallic sheens homely texture coupled with burlap, cotton wool, wool, raffia, and twigs to create the right balance of texture. Here are some ideas to try in your home. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Gray has become the new black as of late. What better way to show off white elements than to put them in front of a gray background. Note how the texture of a pillow and go to work to reflect light and soften the sofa ash-ash. Also, a simple glass vase in various shapes and colors add a little whimsy to the space.

Woodland elements with a modern touch is perfect to add layers of texture to the white space. Adding in wreaths and ornaments can change any oversized fireplace, console or buffet at instant. This post a guest post by Kimberly Reuther. You can read more from Kimberly DesignSpeak work in St. Louis
