St Albans School, founded in 1909 and a boy known as' schools of the United States. Recently, a makeover of the institution is required, so that the company had hired Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). Brief was to create a large (25,000 square feet) of expansion to the building and also to renovate the place almost entirely. Connections between the four schools also needed a separate building and of course should be as "natural" as possible. Architects to take advantage of location and create a stunning interior and exterior parts of the region, who joined the building. In addition, new construction have actually been raised, named Marriott Hall, which provides and aesthetic contrast with the rest of the project. Large classes and the lighting (artificial or natural) is a very learned facto by the team. [via]
